Roshan Forouhi

Subject: PPE
Year Joined: 2013

Position: Musical Director
Vocal Class: Tenor 1

Roshan has had a pretty packed schedule over the last year: despite much pressure from his tutors, he still managed to keep up his commitments not only to Out of the Blue, but also to PPE and his famous small-scale aggressive conservative party rallies, described by onlookers as ‘both animalistic and tribal’. He finely balanced all these things whilst also storming his way to a respectable 16 power-lifting championship victories. Bravo Roshan, bravo. Sadly, in many respects, Roshan has somewhat trimmed the fat on the extracurriculars, choosing to focus on Out of the Blue, having been elected as Esteemed Musical Director for the forthcoming year. Needless to say, Conservative fanatics and power-lifting junkies were devastated to see Roshan hang up his strongly worded blue banners and impressively polished championship belts. The group is better for their retirement however.

Roshan notoriously has the smallest face in the group, a phenomenon with which he regularly regales, and slightly perplexes, schoolchildren from ages 5-18. This is a theme that runs throughout Roshan’s life; it is a lesser-known fact that Roshan also has such small hands that he is not only cripplingly afraid of dropping a pitch pipe, resulting in a vehement refusal to use one, but also that he often cannot hold his tuning fork correctly, resulting in a varying accuracy of starting note. It’s ok Roshan, we know you try.
